Hi, I'm Maria, a UI/UX Designer in the Bay Area

With over four years of experience in UI UX Design, I specialize in creating user-friendly and visually compelling designs, transforming complex concepts into seamless digital experiences. My journey to this field has been a unique one, shaped by my background and passions.

My path began in a different field, where I earned a Master's in Telecom Engineering. However, my innate creativity and lifelong interest in art, drawing, and painting never faded. It was during my engineering studies that I discovered a fascination with people and how they interact with the world around them, delving deep into psychology and human behavior. A favorite quote of mine encapsulates my approach to my career:

"Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life."

This philosophy led me to UI UX Design, which I consider not just a job, but a true calling. By transitioning into this field, I've been able to leverage my whole self: combining a creative designer's passion, an engineer's thoughtfulness, and a deep compassion for users.

I thrive on collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive user satisfaction and business success. My broad experience in design, technology, marketing, and customer service allows me to approach projects with a holistic perspective. I'm meticulous with detail and have a knack for creating clean, simple, and intuitive products.

As an enthusiastic team player with a keen eye for design, I'm always eager to explore new paths, procedures, and approaches. I'm looking to bring my diverse skill set to a positive organization that can foster my growth while benefiting from the unique value I bring to the table.
